Data Modeling Training

Does anyone have any good reccommendations for training in data modeling? The first thing I would say is that there is no training course that could
possibly give you a proper foundation in database design. If you really
want to learn proper database design the place to start (and finish) is
Introduction to Database Systems by Chris Date. I will say that the book is
absolutely NOT "Database Design for Dummies" it is a very rigorous and
sometimes challenging treatment of the subject.
