Are the Data Mining capabilities in Excel only available with Excel 2007?

The recently published Data Mining add-ins for Office only work with Office 2007.

The SQL Server Data Mining Add-Ins for Office 2007 work only with Office 2007 - notably Excel 2007 and Visio 2007.

To implement an Excel 2007 Data Mining solution, you first need Excel 2007 and SQL Server 2005 Analysis Services. Analysis Services is included with SQL Server 2005 Standard and Enterprise Editions and is an installation option. Finally you need the add-ins package itself, which is available as a free download from here: http://www.microsoft.com/sql/technologies/dm/addins.mspx
